Fusagasugá does part of the basin of the Sumapaz River drenched of many streams and rivers that move between the forms sloping of the relief and provide water to the zones of agricultural destination and to all the inhabitants of the municipality. Mostly of fusagasuga’s rivers rise in the paramo of Sumapaz, that is constituted in the micro basin of major importance to Fusagasugá and the center of the country. The hydrographic basins of the municipality are: The Cuja River and the River chocho or Panches, and the sub- basins correspond to the Rivers Cuja, Guavio, Panches and Barroblanco.
